Infertility

Infertility can be improved through establishing a root cause and basing treatment plan around that

Male Infertility
Infertility is a condition with psychological, economic, medical implications resulting in trauma, stress, particularly in a social set-up like ours, with a strong emphasis on child-bearing. Infertility and problems of impaired fecundity have been a concern through ages and is also a significant clinical problem today, which affects 8–12% of couples worldwide. Of all infertility cases, approximately 40–50% is due to “male factor” infertility. It may be one or a combination of low sperm concentration, poor sperm motility, or abnormal morphology. Despite advances in the understanding of male infertility, sperm abnormalities still account for about 30% of male infertility.

Despite an abundance of studies on nutraceuticals and their supplement counterparts and their effects on semen parameters, there is still no regimen being followed around the world to implement adjuvant nutritional intervention for treating such issues. We incorporate evidence based, cutting edge research, to curtail reactive oxygen species and free radicals implicated in the development of infertility. Alongside that we also promote healthy replication of sperm cells, reduce DNA damage and balance hormones to increase sperm count, motility and morphology.

Female Infertility
Female infertility is a multi-faceted problem manifesting as disturbed ovulation, inability to conceive and miscarriages. These symptoms are broader expression of underlying biochemical issues such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, drug use, stress, excessive weight and several other metabolic and hormonal disorders. It is estimated that 7.3 million women aged 15 to 44 years receive infertility services from healthcare professionals every year, yet the prevalence has only been expected to increase. This can be attributed to, inability to establish the root cause, prescribe nutritional intervention and modify lifestyle practices while only focusing on drugs, hormone replacement therapy and invasive ovulation induction.

At NWPC we approach the conundrum through all angles by having all the relative biochemical profiles pertaining to the individual’s state conducted. Our focus is to always balance the biochemistry of the individual to improve ovulation, reduce stress, improve weight management and reverse hormonal imbalance. This is achieved through using nutraceuticals, devising dietary guidelines and modifying lifestyle choices to make a coordinated effort to restore reproductive and overall health.
